Press Release: Zecca Lehn Joins IRIS.TV as Data Scientist
Los Angeles (October 27, 2016) IRIS.TV, a video personalization pioneer that enables publishers and marketers to maximize the value of their video inventory by streaming custom programming to individual users across all devices, today announced that Zecca Lehn has joined the company as a Data Scientist. He will help build and maintain the company’s proprietary video recommendation engine, scale the data science infrastructure, and build an automated competitive intelligence capability.
“Data is at the heart of what we do at IRIS.TV from making sure the right person sees the right video, to helping our partners understand what kind of video content resonates best with viewers and could go viral,” says Dr. Thomas Sullivan, IRIS.TV‘s Chief Data Scientist and to whom Mr. Lehn will report. “We are pleased to have Zecca Lehn join us to improve the data science infrastructure for handling storage, retrieval, and processing based on the large and growing data needs of the corporation.”
Before he joined IRIS.TV, Mr. Lehn was an independent consultant and quantitative trader for more than 4 years and before that, was a Data Science Fellow at NewMet Data Science Bootcamp. Earlier, Mr. Lehn was Co-Founder of West-to-West, LLC (Seattle) a consulting service for maritime, environmental and energy industries, helping improve operational and managerial decisions and striving for efficient use of scarce resources. Before that, he was an Environmental Economist for Ecology and Environment, Inc where Mr. Lehn consulted on renewable and land-use development projects for both government and private entities.
Mr. Lehn began his career as in the Advisor Intern under Mentorship Program at Merrill Lynch. He holds a certified in Data Science Specialization from Johns Hopkins University and is a 2007 graduate of Western Washington University with degrees in Economics, and Environmental Studies. He is on the Board of The Earth Advocacy Project, a registered 501(c)3 dedicated to fighting environmental apathy through education and communications.
