Press Release: IRIS.TV Expands its Advisory Board with the Additions of David Clausen, Andrew Kraft, and Eric Nowlin
Los Angeles (November 7, 2016) IRIS.TV, a video personalization pioneer that enables publishers and marketers to maximize the value of their video inventory by streaming custom programming to individual users across all devices, today announced that it has expanded its Advisory Board from 11 to 14 with the additions of three senior executives with diverse experience in data science, online advertising and private equity. The new advisors are:
David Clausen has been a Manager, Data Science at Facebook since March and before that was the company’s Data Scientist, Infrastructure for nearly 4 years. Earlier in his career he worked in data science at Jukebox TV and Natural Language Labs. He was also a Teaching Assistant at Stanford University from where he holds an MA in Computational Linguistics. Mr. Clausen also a BA in Cognitive Science from Pomona College where he met Field Garthwaite, Co-Founder and CEO of IRIS.TV.

Andrew Kraft serves as Vice President, Publisher Strategy & Account Management, at AppNexus. Previously, he was VP, Strategic Projects, where he defined and led key initiatives helping to bring new offerings swiftly to market and managed relationships with global DSP partners. Simultaneously, Mr. Kraft served as AppNexus’ acting, interim CFO. Before that, he was AppNexus’ VP, Business Development. Prior to joining AppNexus in 2012, Mr. Kraft was the SVP, AMP Publisher Solutions for Collective. He also served as VP of Member Services and Revenue Development for the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB). In addition, Mr. Kraft founded Executivity, a digital marketing and management consulting firm specializing in revenue development strategies. He studied Physics and Theater at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Eric Nowlin is a Private Equity Operating Advisor specializing in building scalable B2B multi channel North American distribution businesses. He currently serves as the Chair of Reliable Parts Holdings & Appliance Parts Depot and Lead Director of Arrowhead Electrical Products. Earlier in his career, Mr. Nowlin spent 8 years with WW Grainger, most recently as President of Grainger Canada in 2012 / 2013 and previously as the Vice President responsible for leading Grainger’s 6000+ U.S. Team members operating 400+ Branches, U.S. E-Commerce, 30,000+ OnSite Customer inventory management locations, and multiple Service Center Operations across the U.S. A graduate of Bowling Green State University, Mr. Nowlin also spent more than 20 years at Maytag where he was a Divisional Vice President of Sales and Vice President of National accounts working closely with large national retailers.
